How do I create posts?

Learn how to use Drafts, the Gunvald assistant, and Generator efficiently.

Step-by-step guide

1. Open Drafts or Generator

Go to Dashboard › Drafts if the Gunvald 2.0 experience is enabled. Drafts collects prepared post suggestions and your own drafts. In legacy mode, open Dashboard › Generator and start a chat about your goal (for example a campaign, an offer, or a themed week).

Drafts and Generator:

  • Prepared posts = Gunvald suggestions (up to 8)
  • Your own drafts = created in chat, in the workspace, or manually
  • In Drafts you can approve items to the library or schedule them directly
  • Generator provides the chat-based workflow in legacy mode

2. Media Studio integration

You can add images to posts through the Media Studio integration:

  • Upload images to Media Studio - Upload files from your device or import them from a URL
  • Use images in posts - Pick images from Media Studio for your posts
  • AI-generated images - Ask AI to create images for your posts

3. Choose the timing

In Drafts you can choose the date and time when approving a post. In chat you can also ask for a time range (this week / next week / month), and Gunvald will suggest several posting slots.

  • "Create 3 posts for this week"
  • "Create Instagram content for September"
  • "Promote the new product on Facebook"

4. Review and edit

AI creates post cards that you can review on the page. You can:

  • Approve the post as-is
  • Edit the text, image, and timing
  • Reject the post completely

5. Schedule or publish directly

Approve the draft either to the library or to the schedule. Scheduled posts appear in Scheduler, where you can still change the timing or publish immediately.

Options:

  • Approve to library: The post moves to the Content Library with the status "Approved"
  • Schedule: The post is published automatically at the selected time
  • Publish now: In Scheduler you can publish the post immediately

How do the assistant and chat work?

The dashboard chat panel is the fastest way to ask for new content and edits. In the Gunvald 2.0 experience, drafts created in chat open in the workspace, where you can approve them to Drafts or directly to the library. In legacy mode, the equivalent chat lives in Generator.

  • Start the conversation by describing your goal
  • Ask for posts, variations, and edits in chat
  • Approve drafts from the workspace to Drafts or the library
  • Continue the conversation and ask for more posts

How do I ask for posts?

You can ask for posts in several ways:

Media Studio is the image management system where you can store and manage images for your posts.

  • Upload from device: Upload images from your computer to Media Studio
  • Import from URL: Bring images directly from a URL
  • AI-generated images: Ask AI to create images for your posts

Using images in posts

After you upload images to Media Studio, you can use them in posts:

  • Choose an image from Media Studio in the post card
  • Use AI-generated images
  • Replace images in posts

AI-generated images

You can ask AI to generate images for your posts. AI creates images based on the post topic and style.

AI-generated images are saved automatically to Media Studio, where you can also reuse them in other posts.

Be specific

Tell the generator exactly what the campaign goal and tone should be.

Use themes

For example, ask for weekly themes or seasonal content.

Add your own voice

Edit the copy so it matches your brand language and terminology.

Managing the schedule

Optimal rhythm

AI suggests the best posting times based on data and your industry. You can change the timing from the card.

Approval before publishing

All posts are approved manually before publishing so the tone stays aligned with your brand.

Common issues and fixes

Time errors

AI always uses the current year and weekday timing. You can edit the time from the card.

Image library

Upload your own image or ask AI to generate an image plan.

Scheduling conflicts

Keep at least 3 hours between posts on the same channel — the system suggests a new time.

Frequently asked questions

How many posts can I request at once?

You can request 1–10 posts at a time. We recommend 3–5 posts for the best results.

Can I edit posts before approving them?

Yes. You can edit the text, swap images, and adjust scheduling before approval.

What happens to rejected posts?

Rejected posts are removed completely. You can always ask for new posts in chat.

What is the difference between scheduled publishing and direct publishing?

Scheduled: The post is published automatically at the selected time. Direct publishing: The post is published immediately with the "Publish now" button. Use direct publishing when you want to publish right away.

Can I ask for more posts about the same topic?

Yes. You can continue the conversation and ask for more posts or refine the topic.
